Sorry I haven’t posted in a month. What can I say? Sometimes life gets overwhelming. Other than a few book notes here and there this blog post is the only thing I’ve written since releasing The Dance.

The Good: The Dance is doing fantastic. I’m thrilled you love Bryson, Hart, and even Will.  Honestly, I was nervous because I’d not published in almost a year. Plus, the subject matter might touch a nerve with some readers. Other great book related things have happened and are in the works this month. I hope to be able to share with you soon.

The Sad: As most of you know I’ve been dealing with some health issues (fractured patella and cancer excision, left leg.) I’m doing well and healing although slowly. It gets very frustrating at time.

The big heartbreak of the summer has been the loss of my sweet yellow lab, Jack. He came down with a virus and passed away last Friday. Jack was by my side with each book I’ve written. Whenever I looked down from my computer there he was under the desk giving me sleepy support. I miss him terribly but take peace in knowing he’s not suffering.

My plan for the remainder of the summer is to finish a special project I’m working on that will be out in the fall and to complete Sophie and Doug’s story from The Dance.

Here’s the playlist for the secret project I’m working on. See if you can guess from the songs what I’m writing about. 🙂
