1. The cover model for Stop! is my niece, Paige.

2. There is a real person who was my inspiration for the character of Benton in Stop! I found him when doing my research for the book. His name is Benton.

3. There is a different line in each of my books that makes me giggle no matter how many times I read them. In Stop!, Hollis’s BFF Maggie says, “You know what I mean, right? When he revs my cho-cho.”

I’m giggling as I write this.

4.  I can’t write a book without including at least one song from Lifehouse on the playlist.

5. I consume copious amounts of Diet Pepsi while writing.

Here’s an extra one for you. One time, I was approached by a guy in a bar who insisted he knew me and used to call me Sugar Britches.

Thank you! I didn’t have to, but I surprised her and did. 🙂 She’s still in college and works as much as her class schedule will allow. She’s gotta make the money to pay for all the Ed Sheeran concerts she goes to. LOL!

Thanks for sharing these fun facts….I had read in the extras at the end of the book that Benton was based on a real person which makes the story even more special.

I fell in love with your storytelling in the Present Perfect series and have been mesmerized ever since. I see I need to get with the program and order me an autographed book. I am a major lover of Diet Pepsi, pretty much only ever drink it and water.

Hey Christina! Some of my fave authors are Courtney Cole, Lisa DeJong, Amy Harmon, A.L. Jackson, Colleen Hoover, to name a few. So many great ones out there. I not only admire their writing but the type of people they are, strong and classy ladies. 🙂

I am looking forward to reading The Perfect Series, which I purchased right after reading STOP! Hoping to get to it as soon as I get caught up on ARC’s. I never get to many books from my TBR list read because I can’t ever tell an author no if they ask me to read and review their book because it is one way I feel I can show them my appreciation to them for sharing their gift with all of us book lovers. I also can never stop myself for signing up for an ARC in one of my book groups for basically the same reason! Take care and happy writing!

I hear ya! Mine just keeps getting longer and longer! And the thing is the New Releases just keep rolling out and I gotta grab them as they come out because I’m afraid I will either miss them or forget the names of the ones I want so I gotta grab them and stick them all in my TBR collection! I’ll let you know once I get a chance to read The Perfect Series!
