This week has been fun and exciting for me.
I had my first solo signing at a local Barnes and Noble. I had no idea how this would turn out. I’ve only done two signings before and both were part of author events. It could not have gone better. I had a constant flow of fantastic people, my books sold out which made B&N happy, and the manager wanted to know when my next book was coming out. He wants me back.
Love my family.
Great to get support from other authors.
Marytre, the actual band Brad and Mabry go see in Past Imperfect.
I finished edits on the final version of the audiobook for Present Perfect. My producer did an incredible job. The line delivery is exactly how I heard the characters in my head. I’ve had an idea in the back of my head for a while. After listening to the audiobook and with my theater background, I’ve decided to work to get Present Perfect made into a play. More on that later. Planning a release event when the audiobook goes live, so stay tuned.
The cover for Noah’s book, Presently Perfect, took place this week. I can’t wait for y’all to see it. There’s also a little cover surprise in the future.
I learned to Skype this week. Stop laughing. I realize how late to the game I am. 🙂
I made these really cute bookmarks this week. When I say I made these, I mean I glued the cute little round covers to the giant paperclips. That’s as crafty as I get folks.
The first promo shots of SOA season 7 came floating across my newsfeed. I’m going to be a total mess by time the premier gets here in Sept.
I started using this awesome makeup. The mascara, lip gloss, and eye shadow are wonderful.
So there you have it. My week’s highlights. You noticed no mention of writing Noah’s book. I’m working on it. Hope everyone has an awesome week ahead.
